Braised Corned Beef Brisket

Ultra tender and incredibly flavorful.
|5 lb corned beef brisket|
|1 tablespoon browning sauce, more if needed|
|1 tablespoon vegetable oil|
|1 onion, sliced|
|6 cloves garlic, sliced|
|2 tablespoons water|
- Preheat oven to 275° F.
- Brush entire brisket with browning sauce.
- Pour vegetable oil into a large skillet. Place brisket in skillet. Bring skillet to medium-high heat. Brown brisket on both sides. About 5-8 minutes per side.
- Transfer brisket to a roasting pan. Place onion slices and sliced garlic onto the brisket. Add water, cover brisket with aluminum foil and place into the oven.
- Roast brisket for six hours.
