Catfish Nuggets

Serves 12

Absolutely savory and crispy perfection.


3/4 cup cornmeal mix
2 tablespoons paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 pounds catfish fillets, cubed
Oil, for frying


  1. In a shallow dish, combine cornmeal, paprika, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Dip catfish nuggets in cornmeal mix. Coat evenly.
  3. Pour a small amount of oil in a skillet. Bring to medium heat.
  4. Cook catfish nuggets, in batches, adding oil as necessary, for 2 to 3 minutes, or until golden.
