Popcorn-Mixed Nut Snack Mix

Makes About 18 Cups


Ingredients:

2 cups unsalted mixed nuts
nonstick cooking spray
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. smoked paprika
1/2 tsp. salt
1 3.5 oz. bag microwave popcorn
2 cups wasabi peas
2 cups cheese snacks
2 cups pretzel snaps

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil. Spread nuts on baking sheet then lightly coat with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and salt. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon over nuts. Place baking sheet in oven for 8 minutes, or until nuts are fragrant and toasted.
  3. During last two minutes of baking time, microwave popcorn according to package directions. As soon as popcorn is popped, place in a large bowl then sprinkle with remaining onion powder mixture; toss to coat. Add toasted nuts, wasabi peas, cheese snacks, and pretzel snaps; toss to combine.
