Garlic Shrimp with Jalapeno

Savory, spicy and utterly satisfying.
|1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined|
|3 cloves garlic, minced|
|1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice|
|1 jalapeno chile, stemmed, deveined, seeded, and finely chopped|
|3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil|
|Sea salt, to taste|
|Ground black pepper, to taste|
|Lime wedges, for garnish|
- In a bowl, combine shrimp, garlic, lime juice, chile, and 1 tablespoon olive oil; season with salt and pepper. Place in refrigerator for 45 minutes.
- Heat remaining olive oil in a skillet set over medium-high heat.
- Remove shrimp from marinade, add to skillet then cook for 2 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Serve with lime wedges.
