Crispy Pan Fried Catfish

Restaurant quality made at home.
|1/2 cup cornmeal|
|4 catfish fillets|
|1 teaspoon sea salt|
|1/4 cup corn oil|
|1/4 cup flour|
|1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper|
- In a bowl, mix together the cornmeal, flour, salt and pepper. Dip the catfish fillets in the flour mixture. Coat both sides evenly.
- Pour corn oil into a large skillet, turn to high heat. Once hot reduce heat to medium and arrange the fish fillets in the skillet. Cook for 3 minutes. Turn and cook the other side for an additional 3 minutes (Until golden brown)
- Remove the fried catfish from the skillet, place on serving plates.
