Easy Kids Trail Mix

Serves 1

Create this quick snack for long trips. It’s a little sweet but also filling, but not enough to ruin lunch or dinner.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons dried fruit, (raisins, cranberries work well)
1 cup cereal, (any multigrain variety)
1 tablespoon chocolate chips
2 tablespoons nuts, (pecans, walnuts, almonds or cashews)

Directions:

  1. Combine cereal, chocolate chips, nuts and dried fruit together in a sandwich bag.
  2. Shake to mix and serve!
