Serves about 2 cups
A delicious side for your holiday meals.
|1 apple, peeled and chopped|
|2 cups cranberries, fresh or frozen|
|1/2 cup chopped onion|
|1/4 cup cider vinegar|
|1/2 cup brown sugar|
|1 tablespoon orange zest|
|1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger|
|1 teaspoon cinnamon|
|1/4 teaspoon ground clove|
- Put all the ingredients into a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to a low simmer and cook, covered, for 20 minutes.
- Uncover and cook for a few minutes more, to reduce any remaining liquid.
